About Zingerman's Roadhouse
A member of the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses in Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Roadhouse opened in 2003. The Roadhouse has worked hard to create its own truly unique food culture, transforming high-quality ingredients into traditional, full-flavored dishes. We seek out pasture-raised meats, line-caught fish, and local farmers to provide produce and grains. Zingerman’s Roadshow is the to-go destination for the Roadhouse, operating out of a vintage Spartan trailer attached to the front of the restaurant. Our amazing Roadshow staff makes delicious coffee drinks, sandwiches, quick breakfasts and lunches, and the best breakfast burritos you will find anywhere in Ann Arbor.

Our last night in Ann Arbor and we couldnt have asked for a better place to eat. The bartender steven (I believe) was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the menu and what drinks work best with the dish. The food was very delicious. Great experience

3 stars because I was expecting more from Zingerman popularity. Most of what I ordered were mediocre. The smoked chicken was dry and bland. The house BBQ sauce significantly improved the flavor, as the chicken wasn't very enjoyable without it. London Broil was too salty. Best thing I had was the mussels. They tasted fresh and had good texture. The tomato broth was delicious, with a rich tomato flavor complemented by garlic and herbs. The broth paired perfectly with bread or pasta. Also all the sides they offer are pretty good. Service is 5 stars every time. Waiters are patience. Drinks gets refill and they will pack the leftovers for you. Looks like breakfast is popular from other reviews. Maybe that will change my overall rating.

I love Zingerman’s and have been coming for 14 years every-time I’m in AA at our corporate office. We ordered the BBQ Platter and the beef was AMAZING! The pork was solid, the ribs were not good. Super dry, over cooked, and as you can tell in the pictures they don’t look great. I’m honestly kinda surprised anyone even sent them out like that. I also asked our server if they had lemonade and the server bragged about how it’s very good and fresh squeezed and then proceeded to tell us the night staff was lazy and didn’t make any so now during lunch they don’t have any. Love Zingerman’s and I’ll be back for the meat and 3 but this trip was not up to par.

First and foremost, the good part. The food is absolutely delicious and amazing. Cocktail has been served really well and the steak is tender and cooked to the perfect temperature. Absolutely no complaints here. The gravy mixed well with the steak too. The chili itself is very rich in flavor, with a taste of both great texture of beef and also the beans. The service was absolutely impressive, shoutout to my server Amanda who brought out a taster dish for me to try their various offerings, which is a very sweet and great touch. She’s very knowledgeable and obviously great at her job. The staff and the worker around there are extremely nice too. Amazing people. Now, the bad part. I honestly don’t get how Earth & Turf, the season special would charge me whopping $72, with about 7 shrimp costed me an add on of $14. I honestly just don’t get it. I expected more, or the price to be cheaper. The whole meal cost me $108. The food is great, but not worth this price. Which is kinda ridiculous.

Mike K was awesome! He gave us a lot of good info about Zingerman's brand and what they stand for, he had a lot of knowledge! We started with a BREADventure, and man, those grapes are phenomenal! When it came to order the entrees Mike also helped me realize I may not want to order TWO of the catfish platters, as it is the WHOLE fish, and it was just me and my mother. He gave us a bit more time to discuss and mom and I decided we would go on a FISHventure And try to eat this WHOLE catfish - lol. Please see the picture, we were very happy we only got one!! The vinegar sauce for the greens is RIGHTOUS, I need that recipe. Oh, and the cheese grits were excellent! And if you ask real nice, you may even be able to get a rootbeer float during happy hour. Overall, a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back with the hubby!
